If you’re like me, you have trouble finding just the perfect gift for anyone. My intentions are well, but my execution leaves a lot to be desired. Earlier this month my wife had a birthday. We’re trying to save money right now, so we decided that we’re not going to go all out on gifts for each. I might have given her some time with a masseuse or a dvd that she’s been wanting, but I decided to give her a cookbook. Suffice it to say, she hated it. She thought it was a terrible gift. I still haven’t really figured out what to get her and I think she stopped caring at this point. We are planning on going out next week though.
So if you’re having trouble deciding on a gift for your moms, I ran across this gift guide by Consumer Reports. The link to a few old articles, but gives you tips on how to pick out flowers and other things your mom might like.
